Is this an Asthma attack?

Hi Is anyone familiar with the symptoms of an asthma attack? From past 2 months I am experience short-term breathing pauses. My upper chest feels tight and I cannot breathe properly. It lasts up to 5 seconds and then goes away. I haven’t felt anything like this before. I am unable to understand what going on? Could it be an asthma attack? Or Should I consult a specialized doctor?
