Do I possibly have mono? Please help with any advice

I have felt very fatigued and just sore all over for the past 12 days. My ankles are sore along with the rest of my body. I haven't worked it since I got it so I can't be sore from that. I run fever daily ranging from 99.0-100.5. I went to the doctor and he said it was a "viral syndrome" . Didn't do any tests or anything.
