Skin infection due to earrings

Hello. I have has an ongoing infection in my earlobe which I have concluded is from wearing earrings with nickel. After about a year of infection, my earring got pulled and lengthened the hole in my lobe. The infection kept going (as I was hoping it would just go away and kept wearing earrings).
