Wrist Tendonitis after Trapeziectomy

I had Trapeziectomy on my right thumb in March and then had my left one done in mid July. My right hand did well, but my left has been a problem. Right after surgery the back of my hand swelled and was extremely painful. I was put on Prednisone and Neurontin and heavy pain meds.
