loss of vision in the left eye

about a month and a half ago i lost vision in the left eye. i could still see, but what i saw appeared as waves that gradually moved down into my vision field. this obstucted my view. after about 20 minutes the waves gradually disappeared moving up and to the left. while this was going on, if i closed my eyes i could still see the 'waves.' i went to the emergency room where i spent a day. th... click here to continue
