Orthopedist or Neurologist? Or just get over it?

I am a 20 year old in great shape! I play tennis and do many other sports. I have a history of lower back problems due to sports (I think) but I know my limits with that injury. For the past month I have been experiencing a great deal of pain with my neck. My primary doctor is suggesting a neuro or an orthopedic doctor.
