HPV questions!

Okay so here is my background. I am 21 years old. In June, I got a routine pap smear that came back abnormal (ASC-H) (This is my first abnormal pap out of 5). I then got a coloscopy and biopsy done. The biopsy came back CIN 3. They say this is all from HPV. I'm not sure if they even tested for HPV, but they are just assuming since that is the most common cause of my results?
