MRI interpretation

I have an MRI findings summary and would like to understand it in laymen terms. Findings : at l5-s1 bony and limited to mild focal disc protrusion posterolaterally to the right with an annular tear without evidence of root impingement ; limited bony disc protrusion more posterolateral to the left than the right at l4-5 as well with disc dehydration limited at both levels.
