visual symptom intensified with exertion

I am 28 and I have episodes of a small multicolored circular shape or a white unformed shape that flashes in my vision. This happens for seconds to 2 min and daily about 2-8 times! This has been there since 2 months. Complete eye test is normal and I was sent to a neurologist who said these could be occipital seizures so I was told to have an EEG and MRI.
