Unexplained lump on head that just appeared over night??

I was on a night out on Saturday and consumed some alcohol. I woke up yesterday morning with a small lump on my head. It's on the left side about 4cm from my temple. I have a dull headache at that side an I feel some pressure going down into my ear and the left side of my face. It's been nearly 36 hrs since this happened!
