48 year old women - too young water retention?

Am I Too young. I have swollen ankles on both feet but on the right foot it is less swollen and is hurting today a lot. My left is more swollen and does not hurt at all. I only have swelling on the ankles...I looked on-line and see horror stories on heart failure etc. Its the weekend now .. is it worth going a+e tomorrow or should I wait for Monday to go doctors?
