Diagnosed with mono but only symptom is swollen lymph node

Yesterday I went to the doctor with a painless swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck below my ear and I diagnosed with mono, definitely not what I was expecting since I have no sore throat, fever, headache, etc. The blood test was positive and though the doctor said false positives are possible, he figured it was mono since I'm the right age for it, I'm 19.
