When will I walk again!!!!

Hi. I had surgery to put in a plate and 6 screws. Distal fracture to mu fibula. My surgeon also put a screw in to grab a chip. I was in a cast for 6 weeks. I am now in a walking boot (7) days. I am now able to use one crutch for a short period of time aprox 500ft. This is after using two crutches to \"warm up\" it is very painful when I first start to walk.
