Should I take Valtrex/New parter question

So 4 years ago I had a random out break, it was my first and I never would have thought I had HSV2. I went to a clinic, got tested, tested positive. That outbreak lasted about 2 weeks from start to complete finish. 4 years have passed and I havn't had any signs of an outbreak or symptom whatsoever. Not even the slightest bit.
