Still a burning sensation and urinating frequently

In July I had unprotected sex with this guy. He did oral on me and tried to put his part in me but it hurt too much. So we stopped talking and then in December I started feeling weird. I started feeling a burning sensation down there but not when I pee. January comes I go to the doc on campus she did a wet prep and says its a yeast infection and gave me the cream.
