Ear pressure painful lots of mucus and coughing bronchitis?

Last night my left ear was in severe pressure like pain. This pain eventually extended down my jaw. Now it is switching between both ears with around 5 hours between each switch. I am also coughing and producing lots of mucus which is running down my throat. It is a lot of mucus so much so that I have to clear my throat every few seconds so cannot sleep.
