Morton's neuroma

Hi, I was born with two blue toes and the doctors told me it was a birthmark. When I turned 19 I went to the doctors again cause it kept swelling and was so painful and they said it was Morton's neuroma. I'm now 24 and am considering getting it cut out as its gotten really bad.
