Change in stool. Should I see a doctor?

I am 19 Y.O. female and my stool began to change from round and sausage like to flat and it started in late October of this year. My stool changed soon after a swollen lymph node disappeared (don't know if related) I have had pain on my left side and I received an upper GI series and everything was normal.
